SANFORD, FLORIDA, July 24, 2017 (Newswire.com) - NSM Florida Enterprises, known as NSMotif, a female-owned and family operated countertop fabrication company in Central Florida, donated $1,350 to SafeHouse of Seminole, a non-profit organization dedicated to domestic abuse prevention, intervention and protection. The donation will be earmarked for the purchase of groceries for the SafeHouse, where nearly 400 women and children rely annually on temporary shelter as they escape abusive relationships and transition to safer living facilities.
Throughout the month of May, in honor of Mother’s Day and National Home Remodeling Month, NSMotif founder and president, Karen Roe, held a promotion where customers could select countertop material free of charge and only pay labor costs for their kitchen or bath project. A big believer in giving back to the local community, Roe wanted to take the promotion a step further and add a charitable aspect. A portion of the proceeds were designated for SafeHouse of Seminole, an organization that Roe feels connected to their mission and work in the Orlando area.
